Policies on Comment:
When policies are on comment for review, Pleasants County Schools welcomes comments and suggestions as we review and update our policies. When policies are on review they go through three readings infront of the Board of Education. After the first reading, a public comment period is opened for 30 days. If a comment is submitted on a policy, it is given to the superintendent who will review the suggestions/ comments with the Board for consideration.
Commenting on Policies:
Comments must be submitted to the Pleasants County Schools Central Office via the Policy Comment Sheet. (Download in PDF or MSWord on the right of this page.)
If you are commenting on more than one policy, please use a separate comment sheet for each policy.
Individuals, groups, or organizations collectively may submit a comment sheet. Comment sheets may not be anonymous. Comment sheets will be shared with the Superintendent and Board of Education for consideration. Comment Sheets should be sent to the Central Office, c/o Eric Croasmun: by e-mail to email@example.com by FAX to 304-684-3569 by mail (or in person) to 202 Fairview Drive, St. Marys, WV 26170 or by inter-office delivery with the county mail system. Comment Sheets must be received at the office by 3:30 PM on the last day the comment period. Incomplete forms and late forms will not be considered.

Policies With Proposed Changes:
New policies/ policies with proposed changes will be displayed in MSWord format. If it is a policy with proposed changes- proposed new sections of text will be displayed with a yellow highlight and proposed sections of text to be eliminated will be notated with a
strikethrough in red. The policies with proposed changes are attached with the proposed revisions marked below.
