Monday, May 18, 2020
A Senior Parade for the Class of 2020 will be driving through St. Marys. The lineup is at 5:00pm and the parade starts at 6:00pm. All seniors are required to be at SMHS in the back parking lot by 5:00pm. Students are encouraged to decorate their vehicles for the parade and wear their caps and gowns. The parade will begin at St. Marys high school and travel down to St. Marys Elementary, down to Pleasants County Middle, and conclude through downtown. Teachers and community members are encouraged to celebrate along with our seniors. We must maintain social distancing guidelines.
At this time, graduates will be given an envelope with 2 tickets for graduation. Vehicles will not be permitted in the parking lot unless you have a ticket. All vehicles MUST fit inside a parking space. Limos and trailers will not be allowed.

“Be the Light for our Seniors”. At 7:00pm the community is being encouraged to light up the town by turning on their porch lights to honor our seniors. The stadium, the baseball field, as well as St. Marys High School campus will be shining for seniors starting at 7pm.

Join the long line of Purple and Gold Pride. We ask that community members show their support for the Class of 2020 by decorating their porches, putting something in their window that is purple and gold. Let’s show our purple and gold pride!

Senior Awards Day will be held beginning at 6:00pm in the Auditorium at St. Marys High School. Please note this is NOT open to the public. Attendance is not permitted. The awards ceremony will be posted live on Facebook under the Pleasants County School site. Please tune in at this time to see if you have been awarded a scholarship.

Graduation will begin at 1:00pm. Student speakers need to be here by 12:30pm. All other seniors need to be here prior to the start at 1pm. This graduation ceremony may take longer than usual due the circumstances.
