Updated Bus Stop Schedule
Attached is the new bus stop schedule that will be used beginning the first day the new St. Marys High School is open. If you have any questions about these changes feel free to call the Pleasants County transportation department at (304) 299-5272.
***New Bus Schedules and Stops***
The opening of the new St. Marys High School on January 5, 2015 will necessitate changes in the transportation of some students to and from school. Buses will no longer be stopping behind the current St. Marys High School, instead we will provide several locations around town for the pick-up and drop off of students. Updated bus stop schedules will be posted before Christmas break online and in the St. Marys Oracle.
Pleasants County Schools Accountability Designation
As part of the accountability system, every public school is designated as a Success, Transition, Focus, Support or Priority school. West Virginia’s accountability system uses several measures to determine school designations including student proficiency rates from the WESTEST2, student growth measures, achievement gap calculations, and either attendance rates for elementary and middle schools or graduation rates for high schools.
Free Microsoft Office
In order to help our students prepare for success this school year, we’re providing Office to every student free of charge. With Office 365, your child will now have access to the latest version of Word, for writing; Excel, for spreadsheets; PowerPoint, for presentations; OneNote, for organization and note taking; and much more.
