SMHS Prom Information

St. Marys High School is holding a prom on Saturday, April 27th at the Riverleigh Room in St. Marys. The Riverleigh Room is located at 212 Second Street.

Students you will have private parking at the following locations. These locations will be reserved only for students attending SMHS prom, parents will not be permitted to use these parking locations.

• Parking lot behind old Pleasants County Bank (the alley behind Candy Your Nails)

• Library parking lot

• United Methodist Church

• Senior Citizen Center parking lot

• Parking lot beside St. Marys Hardware store

• Parking lot behind the senior nutrition center: 219 Second Street

Students will need to check in at the Senior Citizen Center, prom tickets are not needed. Students names will be checked off a list.

We are asking students to arrive by 6:45 pm to check in for the prom. You will need to be with the person that you indicated when you purchased your tickets as your date. Students will be provided with a card with their name and the person they would like to be announced with during the prom parade.

Once students check in at the Senior Citizen Center they will need to walk down to the corner of Second Street at the Pleasants County Nutrition Center, this is a red building. This is where students will start for the prom parade.

Starting at 7 pm, the 2024 Prom Parade will begin, Mr. Croasmun will be our announcer for the evening. Students will cross the street from 219 Second Street to the Riverleigh Room, students will pause in the middle of the street for pictures. Please note there will be several adults during this parade to ensure the safety of all students as well as St. Marys Police Department.

Prom will be held from 7pm to 10pm. Students will be provided free pork pulled sliders from 304 Smoke Shanty BBQ, Chocolate covered pretzels from Smith’s Candies, assorted candy and a charcuterie board. Students will be provided free water and lemonade from press as well during the evening.

As of now we are expecting the following food trucks to be set up for students to purchase additional food and drinks if desired.

They will be set up in front of the Senior Citizen Center.
