The SMHS STARS group created Easter baskets for 25 families. These families will be getting a box of food for Easter Dinner, as well as an Easter basket. The St. Marys Elks Club partnered with STARS for this project. Food will be delivered Saturday morning.

Mrs. Corrigan's Forensic class is determining the area of origin of an impact by calculating the degree of the angle from the blood spatter. The students will then place strings at those angles to find where the blood source originated in three- dimensional space.

Please save the date February 25th, 10 - 10:45 AM, to join First2 Network in a webinar and Q and A for all high school teachers, school counselors and high school students interested in college, particularly any who may have interest in a STEM major. This presentation will give a quick reminder of how to pay for college, including completing FAFSA and applying for PROMISE. Next, representatives from universities and partner sites including Marshall, WVU, WVSU, UC, WVU Tech, Fairmont, WV School of Osteopathic Medicine, Green Bank Observatory, and High Rocks will give a quick look at paid summer internships for graduating seniors intending to major in a STEM field and will share the benefits of joining the First2 Network on campus.
