🇺🇸🎶 What a special evening for our BES Fourth Grade Choir! 🎶🇺🇸 Our fourth graders proudly performed the Star-Spangled Banner at this evening’s Pleasants County Middle School football game, hosted at the St. Marys High School football field. We are so proud of these students for representing Belmont Elementary School with such confidence and pride! ❤️💙 A special thank-you to Mr. Negie for directing our choir and helping our students prepare for this wonderful performance! Constitution Day at BES!

Some of our 4th graders thought it would be a great idea to celebrate Constitution Day by wearing red, white, and blue tomorrow! ❤️🤍💙

Everyone is welcome to participate as we take some time to learn about what Constitution Day is, why our Constitution is important, and the role it plays in our country.

We love seeing our students take the lead and come up with meaningful ways to celebrate and learn! 📚

✏️📚 Writing in First Grade! 📚✏️ Today, Mrs. Ashley’s 1st grade class began working on their journals for the year! Throughout the year, students will craft daily responses while developing and strengthening all components of their writing. We are so excited to see this initiative take shape and can’t wait to watch their writing grow throughout the year! 📝💙🐾 Keep writing, Bobcats! We can’t wait to see where your words take you! 🌟

💙 We are beyond thankful to VISTRA Pleasants Power Plant for their incredibly generous donation to the BES Clothing Closet! 💙 Their generosity will help us keep our shelves stocked with food supplies for our BES families throughout the school year. Help us stock the BES Hygiene Closet! Donations may be sent to school with your child or dropped off at the BES office.

Each grade level is collecting specific hygiene items to help ensure our Bobcats have access to the hygiene essentials they need. 🐾💙

📚 1st 9 Weeks Midterm grades were sent home today!

Midterm grades are a great opportunity to celebrate your child's progress and identify areas where they can continue to grow before the end of the grading period. We encourage families to review grades together, recognize hard work, and talk about goals for a strong finish to the first nine weeks.

Our public schools give students opportunities to discover their talents, express their creativity, and find where they belong. Is your child due for a dental cleaning or checkup? Belmont Elementary School is hosting a Mobile Dental Clinic! 🪥😁

🦷 Services may include cleanings, fluoride, sealants, and silver diamine fluoride (SDF).

This is a great opportunity for students who do not currently have a dentist or have not visited a dentist in more than a year.

⭐ For Pre-K & Kindergarten students, participation can count toward their dental requirement!

💙 Medicaid and private insurance are accepted, with a sliding scale available for those without insurance. No student will be turned away due to inability to pay.

If you would like your child to participate, please sign and return the form to school by Friday, September 11. Your school nurse will send an application home with your student.
