🐾 BES PTO Parent Participation Challenge! 🐾

We’re excited to kick off a fun new way for our BES families to get involved! Every time a parent or guardian participates in a PTO meeting or volunteers at a PTO event, their child’s classroom earns a point. 🐾

And… there’s a little friendly competition! 😉 At the end of the school year, the classrooms with the most parent participation will earn money for their teacher to use toward classroom needs! 🎉

Whether you attend a meeting, volunteer at an event, or jump in when your school needs you, every bit of participation makes a difference!

🎭 BES would like to give a BIG thank you to ArtsBridge! 🎭 Our K–2nd grade students had a wonderful morning at the auditorium enjoying the performance of “Goldilocks Rocks!” 🐻🎶 We are so grateful for opportunities like this that bring the arts to our students and give them a fun, engaging experience outside of the classroom. Thank you, ArtsBridge, for sharing your talents with our Bobcats! 💙🐾

A HUGE thank you to Pleasants County Insurance for their extremely generous donation to our BES Hygiene Drive and Food Pantry! 💙🐾 They supplied our school with over 150 items that will go a long way in supporting our kiddos and their families. We are incredibly grateful for your generosity and for the continued support you show our school. We are truly blessed to have such an amazing community that comes together to support our students! ❤️🤍💙 Yesterday at BES, our students showed their patriotic spirit by wearing red, white, and blue in celebration of Constitution Day! We loved seeing our Bobcats proudly representing the colors of our country while learning about the importance of the U.S. Constitution and the freedoms and responsibilities it represents. 🇺🇸🐾

🇺🇸🎶 What a special evening for our BES Fourth Grade Choir! 🎶🇺🇸 Our fourth graders proudly performed the Star-Spangled Banner at this evening’s Pleasants County Middle School football game, hosted at the St. Marys High School football field. We are so proud of these students for representing Belmont Elementary School with such confidence and pride! ❤️💙 A special thank-you to Mr. Negie for directing our choir and helping our students prepare for this wonderful performance! Way to go, BES Fourth Grade Choir! 🇺🇸🐾

Constitution Day at BES!

Some of our 4th graders thought it would be a great idea to celebrate Constitution Day by wearing red, white, and blue tomorrow! ❤️🤍💙

Everyone is welcome to participate as we take some time to learn about what Constitution Day is, why our Constitution is important, and the role it plays in our country.

We love seeing our students take the lead and come up with meaningful ways to celebrate and learn! 📚

🎶🇺🇸 Come Support Our 4th Grade Choir! 🇺🇸🎶 We are so excited to announce that the BES 4th Grade Choir will be performing the National Anthem tomorrow night at the Pleasants County Middle School football game! ❤️💙 📍 St. Marys High School Football Field 📅 Tomorrow Night — September 16 🏈 Kickoff: 7:00 PM Come out, cheer on our Minutemen, and support our amazing 4th grade singers as they proudly represent Belmont Elementary School! 🎤🇺🇸 We can’t wait to see you there! 💙💛

✏️📚 Writing in First Grade! 📚✏️ Today, Mrs. Ashley’s 1st grade class began working on their journals for the year! Throughout the year, students will craft daily responses while developing and strengthening all components of their writing. We are so excited to see this initiative take shape and can’t wait to watch their writing grow throughout the year! 📝💙🐾 Keep writing, Bobcats! We can’t wait to see where your words take you! 🌟

📚 1st 9 Weeks Midterm grades were sent home today!

Midterm grades are a great opportunity to celebrate your child's progress and identify areas where they can continue to grow before the end of the grading period. We encourage families to review grades together, recognize hard work, and talk about goals for a strong finish to the first nine weeks.
