ANNOUNCEMENT – Monday, May 18, 2026: Due to a small gas leak reported on Triplett Street in Belmont, PCMS & BES are taking precautionary safety measures in coordination with the City of Belmont and Hope Gas. Currently, outside recess and outdoor activities are temporarily suspended out of an abundance of caution. The issue is not affecting the school buildings, and normal instructional activities inside the school are continuing as scheduled. School officials will continue to monitor the situation closely.

Tuesday, May 12 🇺🇸 Schools are CLOSED for the Primary Election Day. A normal schedule will resume on Wed. May 13.

National Interpreter Day is celebrated annually on the first Wednesday of May to recognize those who serve as interpreters. Thank you, Kendra!

May 6, 2026, between the hours of 9 -11 AM, MOVTI’s Emergency Services and Law & Public Safety programs will be collaboratively simulating a Mass Casualty Incident (MCI). Students in these two (2) programs will be participating by utilizing the knowledge and skills learned in their respective program of study during the 2025 – 2026 school year. This simulated MCI is a planned scenario event and not a real event. This will not cause any disruptions or involve any other school in the county.
