Parents:
If your child is attending SOLE, please complete the daily health-self assessment with them before sending them to the school. (Your child will also receive a paper copy on their first day of SOLE.)

The Ritchie Regional Health Center on the SMHS campus will be open the following days and times beginning Wednesday, June 2nd:
Wednesday, June 2nd—1:00-4:00pm
Beginning June 7th:
Mondays and Wednesdays 7:30am-4:00pm
The St. Marys campus will NOT be open Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays during the summer.

Parents: Any medications left at school need to be picked up by June 30, 2021. Any medications not picked up will be disposed of as per policy. Also, as a reminder for new medications next school year: the doctor medication order form can be printed off from the school webpage under the school nurse tab. A new form needs to be filled out each school year. Please call the school with any questions.
**Virtual Learners Only**
As a reminder- all work for the Virtual Learners is due today by 3:30 PM. Any unfinished work will remain as a zero.
All school-owned devices and supplies must be returned by 3:30 PM on Friday, June 4. We will have a designated drop-off time from 10 – 11 AM on Thursday, June 3 at the front loop of PCMS/ BES. If you are unable to attend the designated drop off time, please schedule an appointment to turn in devices with the principal of your child’s school of record.
June 1: The Last Day of School! To our staff, students, parents/families, board members, community members- thank you to everyone for doing their part, overcoming challenges and obstacles, and having patience and grace to make this unprecedented school year successful.

Tonight our Board of Education recognized the 2021 Teachers of the Year! Mr. Satterfield, Mrs. Casto, Mr. Meeks, Mr. Nelson. Thank you for your service!

Attention: St. Marys High School will be hosting a county-wide Emergency Services Training on June 2nd, 2021. Local law enforcement, fire departments, and EMT’s will be present from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at SMHS. Part of the training will be a mock Active Shooter drill. Pleasants County Schools will be following A.L.I.C.E procedures. Selected county school employees will be present in the building. No students will be present during the training.
Due to inclement weather the outside concert will be canceled today. Mr. Jones will be performing and recording a concert at school and we will post the video.
Attention Virtual Learning Families:
**Device turn-in will be conducted at the PCMS/ BES front loop for all Virtual Learners on Thursday, June 3 from 10 AM to 11 AM.
**At this time, all virtual learners should turn in any school-owned technology devices including iPads, Laptops, hot-spots, and any other school-owned accessories (keyboards, headphones, etc.)
**If you are unable to make it to this drop-off time, you need to call the principal of your child’s school of record to set-up an appointment to turn in your device(s.)
**All devices must be turned in by 3:30 PM on Friday, June 4.

We were so excited to welcome the 4th grade students to the middle school today for their PCMS tour.




Multiplication Initiative -
Students enjoying an earned ice cream party after completing all of their multiplication facts for the year. Congratulations to all students that worked hard to earn this reward!




Mr. Bell’s class has been working on building flower boxes. Students learned how to properly use a tape measure, a speed square, hammer, and observed Mr. Bell using the miter saw.

Students who completed a certain percentage of the ALEKS program as prescribed by their math teacher earned their way to participate in the ALEKS Math Carnival! Students earned punch cards and played different games.




Thank you to Mr. Davis, Mr. Jones and his homeroom for volunteering to help clean up our school flowerbeds.
