All students and staff are safe. A smoke detector was triggered, but there was no actual issue. The building has been thoroughly checked and cleared by school maintenance and local emergency services. We have received the official "all clear," and the building has resumed normal operation.

"SMES Back to School"
As we begin a new school year, we are excited to invite you to SMES Back-to-School Night on Wednesday, August 13, at 5:30 p.m. Activities will start in the cafeteria and conclude with meetings with classroom teachers.
