This is for registration for students entering Pre-K. and Kindergarten (for those who did NOT attend PK.)
If your child is currently in PK, you do not need to register for Kindergarten, they will automatically be registered for K. Thanks!
Today we would like to recognize those who have been selected as All-State Musicians for 2023. They will perform later this week in their respective concerts during the WV State Conference for The National Association for Music Education.
Congratulations to the 2023 Young Writers Winners- County Level! They will be honored in Charleston on May 5, 2023.

Reminder - Please order online at jostens.com OR send your yearbook order form with payment (cash or checks made payable to SMES) to school with your student(s) before February 28th. This helps us order enough yearbooks so that all of those who want one can have one. There are a limited amount of extras ordered and we want everyone to get theirs.

There will be tutoring tonight, Tuesday, February 21st.
There will NOT be tutoring Wednesday, February 22nd.

Parents this is reminder that this Friday is an early dismissal day. School will be dismissing at 1:00 p.m. Parents of younger children need to have someone available to pick them up from the school bus. If you have any questions, please contact your school. Thank you.

February 6-10 is National School Counseling Week!
February is Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Month. SMES staff and students would like to honor and remember everyone born with a heart defect and all the families and friends touched by children with heart defects.
Staff and students should wear RED on Monday, February 6 as to show their support for past, present and future students with Congenital Heart Defects.
There will be no tutoring for the rest of the week, 2/1-2/2/23. Please make sure your student knows where they are to go after school.
