SMES first Local School Improvement Council (LSIC) organizational meeting (election of officers) and the first business meeting have been scheduled for Thursday, September 12 at 4:00 p.m. in the Counselors Office. All stakeholders are invited and encouraged to attend! If you are a parent/guardian and interested in being a member of the LSIC please complete the nomination form that was sent home with students on September 9. Please return the nomination form to the school by Wednesday, September 11. We will elect all new members on September 12.

This is a reminder that Lifetouch will be taking 'Fall Pictures' at SMES on Tuesday, September 10. The preferred method of ordering student pictures is online by going to mylItetouch.com and entering SMES School code: EVTF8TKPK. If pictures are ordered online there is no need to return the picture packet. Also, the SMES PTO would like to remind parents and students the SMES Spirit T-Shirt sell will end on Wednesday, September 11. Please send your T-Shirt order to school ASAP.
