BES students came back from Spring Break to find all new SMART Board Interactive Displays installed in their classrooms. All Belmont Elementary instructional areas received a new 75" SMART display mounted on a height adjustable mount.

Due to the Pleasants County Middle School building not yet being cleared, Belmont Elementary and Pleasants County Middle School students will be dismissed from St. Mary s High School. Students will ride their regular buses. Parent pickups can occur in the back parking lot of St. Marys High School. Belmont walkers will be bussed to the fire department training center on Triplett St. to be dismissed.

Under the guidance of Mrs.Taylor, students from the Belmont Elementary4th Grade Class signed the National Anthem at the St. Marys High School Basketball game on March 29. Principal Taylor has been teaching sign language to the BES students throughout the school year.


Earlier this week, Belmont Elementary School practiced an emergency weather drill (Code White). Please take this opportunity to discuss what your student should do if a weather emergency happens when they are at home. Where should they go? What should they do? Who should they contact if you get separated? As always, we thank you for your support.
