Miss Willow Peyton represented the state of West Virginia in the Poetry Out Loud: National Recitation Contest, placing runner-up in New York City! Willow visited PCMS today, talking to students about the art programs in Pleasants County Schools, and her endeavors. Thank you for presenting today Willow, and congratulations!

Seventh graders from Pleasants County Middle School visited the Pleasants County Courthouse Friday as part of Elks Youth Government Day. Students met with the county clerk, county assessor, sheriffs office, the magistrates, and Judge Tim Sweeney as part of their experience with local government. Thank you to Magistrate Mindy Hadley and Deputy Joe Oliverio for hosting our students!

Physicals are offered for current 6th-11th grade students at no cost.

Do not participate in physical activity or drink caffeine 2 hours prior to your appointment.

Congratulations to Miss Lindsey Cross and Mr. Dustin Bell for receiving a SNAP-Ed Grant from WVUP for $1,984.25. The grant will be used to purchase hydroponics kits. The kits will be used in STEAM classes to grow different types of healthy food options.
