PCMS celebrated academic proficiency on the ELA beginning of year state test, with a pizza party and extra recess. There were 55 students that already scored proficient on standards that will be taught throughout the year. Congratulations to these students!

The 8th grade class is selling Chestnut Hill Candles as a class fundraiser for their end of year celebration. See an 8th grader to purchase, or stop in the PCMS office. Orders are due November 28th. Candles will arrive before Christmas Break.

The PCMS Cardboard Regatta was hosted Friday afternoon. Students created boats in science class using cardboard and up to two rolls of duct tape per group. The teams then tested their boats to see if they could withstand a trip across the pool. There were nine teams that survived.
