Thank you to ArtsBridge for sponsoring an interactive storytelling experience today for 7th & 8th grade students. Students followed Harriet Tubman's journey, gaining her own freedom, and learned about the over 19 trips from North to South that Tubman made to free over 300 slaves from captivity.

Students in Mr. Lancaster's science class discussed aerodynamics, and how change in design affects flight. Using paper, students created airplanes and determined how thrust, lift, drag and weight impacted flying distances.
