The PCMS art classes created over 100 holiday cards that were distributed to Stonerise Healthcare Center and the Pleasants County Senior Nutrition Program Meals on Wheels for seniors in our community.
Mrs. Reed's 6th and 7th grade math classes work in teams and use strategic thinking to create cup towers.

Congratulations to the PCMS Band and PCMS Choir on their outstanding performances tonight! The PCMS Band is directed by Mr. Jones. The PCMS Choir is directed by Mr. Negie.
Thank you to the WVU Extension Service for partnering with PCMS to offer a Career Readiness Program to many of our 7th and 8th grade students.
The program included: exploring career options, setting goals, creating a vision board, job shadowing, soft skills, job applications, how to build a resume, how to dress for an interview, and interview techniques.
Today during the ninth session, students participated in a mock interview with an interviewer to test their skills and to provide tips for improvement.
Parents this is reminder that this Thursday is an early dismissal day. School will be dismissing at 1:00 p.m. Parents of younger children need to have someone available to pick them up from the school bus. If you have any questions, please contact your school. Thank you.
Congratulations to the Minutemen Wrestling team on bringing home 3rd place at the LKC Tournament this weekend. There were nine wrestlers that finished in the top four, merely missing runner up by one point. Leading the way for the Minutemen and becoming the 5th LKC Champ in school history was Kyle Bullman!

We invite the community to the new Bullying Prevention Program Kickoff on January 4th at 6 PM at SMHS. There will be refreshments, activities, and performances by student groups.
