To gear up for the countywide OLWEUS Bullying Prevention Kickoff on January 4th, students created anti-bullying posters. To be eligible for the poster contest, students had to include the school anti-bullying rules. Winning posters from each grade level will be displayed at the kickoff event, and at PCMS.

PCMS celebrated academic proficiency on the math beginning of year state test, with a pizza party and extra recess. These students already scored proficient on standards that will be taught throughout the year. Congratulations to these students!

PCMS is proud to offer gifts in the Minutemen Market for the upcoming holiday season FREE to PCMS students. Thank you to Luminant Pleasants Power Plant, the PCMS PTO, PCMS Faculty Senate, and other organizations that have made donations to help keep our market stocked and relevant year round for our kiddos!
The Minutemen Market is part of our Positive Behavior Intervention and Support program to recognize students for meeting behavior expectations. Students earn Minutemen Money and can shop at the market every morning of the school year.

PCMS LSIC Meeting
Tuesday, November 28th at 4:00 PM in the IMC


PCMS hosted our annual PCMS Career Fair prior to break. There were 18 different rotations available, with multiple careers represented. Thank you to each and every individual that presented. We appreciate you taking your time and sharing your career with us at PCMS!

Congratulations to our Elks Hoop Shoot contestants! Winners will advance to the next round on December 2nd. The runner-up will advance if the 1st place contestant cannot attend.

Hallie, Jacob and Kasey are participating in the Marshall University Middle School Honor Band today. The band consists of over 200 students from 25 schools in WV, Ohio and Kentucky.
