Parents and Stakeholders:
As required by State Code, we have to hold Faculty Senate and Professional Development Sessions each month, which requires a monthly Early Dismissal. So you can plan, here is our 2024-2025 Early Dismissal Schedule. As with any schedule, this may change depending on weather cancellations and other factors.
Joe Semple (SMHS) and Michelle Bineger (PCMS) were asked by the WVDE to participate in the WV K-12 State Art Standards Review Committee for 2024-2025 academic year in Charleston. Thank you to Mr. Semple and Mrs. Bineger for representing Pleasants County Schools in this important task!

Schedules for students entering 6th – 8th grade can be picked up Friday, August 2nd and Monday, August 5th. The PCMS office will be open to pick up schedules
9:00 AM – 11:30 AM and will open back up 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM each day. Students that are entering 5th grade will receive their schedules at 5th Grade Orientation, Monday, August 12th. As a reminder, 5th Grade Orientation is 5:30 – 6:45 PM. Any student that does not pick up their schedule, will receive their schedule on the first day of school. Schedules will only be given to student, or parent/guardian of that student.

Notice to All Employees:
The Back-to-School Letter and PD/ SD Schedule were emailed to all staff emails. They will not be mailed in US mail. If you did not receive the email or are unable to access it, please get in touch with your principal or building administrator.
