Governor’s Schools of West Virginia are offering free summer programs for students in grades 7 to 11. Please see the flyer below for information for the STEM Sports Stars program for current 7th graders.
Application Process:
Student submits Part I online
Student and Counselor work together to complete Part II
Student and Counselor compile every piece of the application into one PDF.
School Selection Committee convenes to decide on student recommendations.

PCMS 5th grade students received the 2024 When I Grow Up Essay Contest SMART 529 forms today. This is a program of the West Virginia State Treasurer's Office. Children in grades K-5 have a chance to win up to $5,000 in a SMART529 education savings account that can be used for higher education expenses.

PCMS band and choir picture day will be Monday, February 5th. Orders can be placed digitally by scanning the QR code. Students will receive paper forms in the next few days.

PCMS will host a Snowball Winter Dance on Tuesday, February 27th. Any parent/guardian that would like to help chaperone MUST contact the school by Friday, February 23rd. Only parents/guardians that have signed up and are an approved volunteer will be able to chaperone.

MOVTI's Graphic Design and Multimedia Publishing students collaborated with PCMS STEAM students to design t-shirts for the Kindness Campaign. The STEAM students brainstormed ideas after learning about marketing, branding, and copyright laws from MOVTI students.
