The winning PCMS Kindness Week design team traveled to the MOVTI yesterday to screen-print t-shirts. During the class, the students were taught about the screen-making process. They learned that screens are covered with a light-sensitive emulsion and then exposed to light. After that, the screens are washed out with a sprayer. The students had the opportunity to try out the "spraying out" part of the process. They also had the chance to screen print on a test sheet, as well as assist with putting shirts on the machine to be printed, folding and counting shirts. Finally, they were given a tour of MOVTI programs to see the various offerings of each program. Thank you to Mrs. Leithead and the MOVTI for supporting PCMS in this educational experience!

WorkForce West Virginia pushed into Mrs. Sandy's classes today to lead career exploration opportunities through virtual reality.
