PCMS winter sports highlighted and encouraged healthy mental health and let student athletes, as well as all PCMS students know that YOU MATTER! With this effort, Coach Boron stated, "Let’s remove the stigma of mental health being something we shouldn’t talk about." The boys and girls basketball programs, along with the cheerleading squad came together to bring awareness to the rising number of teen suicides. They also wanted to promote the new hotline 988, which is available 24/7. Coach Boron stated, "We spent the week talking about being kind to everyone, because you never know someones struggles. We wanted to make sure everyone knows that they are important!" Coach Boron went on to say, " It was great to see all the PCMS fans and students at the game last night supporting this worthy cause!"

PCMS STEAM students experienced firsthand how to construct a solar oven out of a pizza box, gather the sun's rays, and cook a tasty treat. Although it was only 40 degrees, the solar energy — light and heat emitted from the sun aloud students to enjoy their s'more. How does a solar oven work? The simple answer is that it is designed to absorb more heat than it releases. Bon appétit😊
