The 8th grade class is selling Chestnut Hill Candles as a class fundraiser for their end of year celebration. See an 8th grader to purchase, or stop in the PCMS office. Orders are due November 28th. Candles will arrive before Christmas Break.

The PCMS Cardboard Regatta was hosted Friday afternoon. Students created boats in science class using cardboard and up to two rolls of duct tape per group. The teams then tested their boats to see if they could withstand a trip across the pool. There were nine teams that survived.

EXTRAVAGANZE fundraiser orders arrived early! You can pickup orders today now until 3:00PM or Friday 9:00 AM-2:00PM. When arriving at the school, please pull in the front loop and come to the main office. If you have any questions please contact PCMS at (304) 299-5275.

The annual PCMS Pumpkin Drop was held on Friday. Thank you to Luminant Pleasants Power Plant for sponsoring this event. Students designed pumpkin protection packages that were dropped from 35 feet in the air. This year there were 11 pumpkins that survived the drop out of 50+ teams. The winning team was "The Banana Clan," consisting of members Gabe, Braylon, Ashton and Tyler.
Congratulations to students that received Student of the Month or Citizenship awards for the 1st 9 weeks! ✨
PCMS PBIS Rewards Day was on Friday. Students celebrated with games, costumes and snacks. Special thank you to the PTO for always providing snacks for our kiddos!

The WV Board of Education requires all schools to engage in continuous school improvement. In doing so, schools should engage in a data-driven school planning process, identify its needs, and work to increase school safety and create a positive learning environment.
