PCMS hosted a Career Fair yesterday for all middle school students. Over 30 presenters representing 19 careers came to school to talk with students about their jobs. Thank you to everyone who took time out of their day today to share this information with students. It was a great day!





The student COVID vaccine clinic has been confirmed for November 29th. Parents have until this Friday at 8am to sign up their child to be vaccinated. If you would like your child to receive the Pfizer COVID vaccine, please fill out this form: https://forms.office.com/r/jVLQNsZ896
If you do not have access to fill out this form online, please contact your child's school for assistance. Signed parental consent will be required for students to receive the vaccine. The consent form (https://5il.co/r9q3) is posted to the Pleasants County Schools website and will also be sent home with your child.

With the colder months approaching, please remember the guidance chart (posted as an image) to reduce illness in our schools. If you are unsure, please call the nurse that serves your child's school.


Thursday, November 18 is the Mid-Term for the Second Nine Weeks.
Mid-Term reports will be sent home on Friday, November 19.

Mr. Jones and Mrs. Sandy’s classes recently learned about the mummification process used in Ancient Egypt to preserve their dead for the afterlife. They re-enacted it using tomatoes as pharaohs for an interactive history lesson.

Yesterday was a wonderful day for our Pumpkin Drop! Thank you to Luminant Pleasants Power Plant for providing this opportunity for our kids! Students created a design to protect their pumpkin from damage when dropped from 80 feet. Refreshments and prizes were given out and everyone enjoyed the afternoon activities!
