Students in Mr. Jones class studied Ancient Egypt and learned to play Mancala, one of the world’s oldest board games; game boards have been found in the tombs of Egyptian pharaohs dating back thousands of years!

Recently, the WVDE released its Accountability Report. The report assesses each county based on the criteria in the "Balanced Scorecard" as well as the "operational effectiveness" of the district. The state examines 11 indicators. PCS was one of six counties in the state to achieve "green" status with no areas “on watch” from the state! Thank you to our staff, students, and board members who all played a part in meeting these 11 indicators.
