December 2 is National Special Education Day.

The SMES PTO will be holding a meeting to discuss upcoming events. We would love for you to join us and help generate ideas. PTO in the past has sponsored educational and extra-curricular activities for the students at SMES. Please plan to join us at SMES Library on Thursday, December 1 at 5:30 p.m.

The SMES PTO will be Santa’s Elves on December 15th. If anyone would like to donate wrapping supplies, here is what we need:  Wrapping Paper,  Labels  Tape, and  Small Gift Bags If you wish to donate any supplies you may send them with your child to school or drop them off in the office by December 9th . Any donations would be very much appreciated!! Thank you and if you have any questions, please contact the office at 304-684-3510.

Schools will be closed for Thanksgiving Break through November 27. School will resume for staff and students on Monday, November 28.

Friends and Family Night at SMES Scholastic Book Fair from 4:30-6:30 p.m. tonight November 17th!

Parents this is reminder that this Friday is an early dismissal day. School will be dismissing at 1:00 p.m. Parents of younger children need to have someone available to pick them up from the school bus. If you have any questions, please contact your school. Thank you.
