Communities In Schools (CIS) is required to provide at least four Tier I activities throughout the year to encourage attendance and decrease chronic absenteeism. Next week will be our second Tier I activity available to all students and staff that are present. “HUNTING SEASON” (finding hidden deer photos around the school) will be open for the week at PCMS!
Throughout the school there will be posted “wildlife preserve areas” and hunting time frame limitations during the season. Full copy of the rules will be provided to staff and students. If PCMS hunters track down a buck or doe, they bring their find to “deer camp” aka the office! When checking in their deer, they will be able to select from a variety of prizes. Two trophy bucks will be hiding in the woods (building) of PCMS, waiting to be taken to deer camp for the GRAND PRIZE!
Attendance facts are placed on the back of all photos of whitetail deer. The goal of this activity to provide a positive school atmosphere, encourage and emphasize importance of attendance, and provide fun prizes as an incentive for their attention to details and ability to follow public rules.

Mrs. Sole's students worked to organize decimals in group today.

Congratulations to our 100% Club winners on pepperoni roll day! Students that get a 100% on a test or quiz enter their name into a drawing to win a large pepperoni roll on pepperoni roll day. Four winners are drawn each month!
