Four PCMS art students had works selected to represent Pleasants County at the West Virginia Youth Art Month Show at The Parkersburg Art Center March 8th.
Ava Winland, Heidi Steele, Aayden Cain and Hunter Steele had the honor of displaying their artwork with students across the state.
Hunter Steele was awarded second place for his Vincent Van Gogh inspired flowers.

PCMS 8th grade students completed high school scheduling today with SMHS school counselors Loura Rinard and Kelli Meeks, and PCMS school counselor Jennifer VanZile.




Our Physical Education program teaches a variety of activities and skills during a 9 week term. A big emphasis is on those skills that students can use or activities they can participate in for the rest of their lives in keeping active, not only now, but well into adulthood. As part of our Lifetime Fitness skills, the 5th grade PE class learns the proper way to serve and return in Badminton.

March 3rd-5th four PCMS students attended the 44th Annual Youth and Government Seminar in Charleston, WV. The seminar focused on state government and students actively participated in activities with officials in the State Government.

Students in Mr. Nichols STEAM class used an animal adaptation worksheet to guide and design their own animals in a 3D model. Students will then write an informative essay about their animals.
