📣 PCMS PBIS Rewards Day – Club Day Fun! 🎉 For our 3rd 9 Weeks PBIS Rewards Day, PCMS students enjoyed an exciting Club Day filled with fun, creativity, and teamwork! We offered 17 different clubs for students to choose from giving everyone the opportunity to explore their interests—from art and STEM to games, fitness, and more. Our students had an amazing day, and we were so proud to celebrate their positive behavior and hard work throughout the 3rd nine weeks. 👏 Thank you to our staff for organizing such a great experience and to our students for continuing to make PCMS a positive place to learn and grow! 💙

Our 7th and 8th grade classes are selling JR's Donut Castle Pepperoni Rolls from March 25th – April 10th!
For every item sold, $1.75 goes directly to the class account to help support student activities and events.

We’ve had an AMAZING week at PCMS celebrating Kindness Week! 💙✨ Our students have loved reading to Belmont Elementary each day, and our annual Easter egg hunt is a huge success! 🐣🌸 We’ve also seen so many students recognized for their random acts of kindness—way to go! 👏 From “Anything But a Backpack” day to Twin Day, the fun has been nonstop—all while remembering our WHY and what it means to put the “I” in KINDNESS. 💫 So proud of our students for making a difference every day! #PCMSPride #KindnessWeek #ChooseKind

Students rotated through stations where they participated in engaging, hands-on science activities. 💙✨ PCMS Kindness Week is Off to a Great Start! ✨💙 Today kicked off Kindness Week with the theme “Be Kind to Yourself”—a reminder for students to say something positive about who they are and take a moment to breathe and reset. We loved seeing everyone cozy in their pajamas while focusing on self-care and positivity! 💬 Tomorrow’s Theme: “Be Kind with Words” Challenge: Compliment at least three people and spread positivity wherever you go! 👯 Dress-Up Theme: Twin Day—show unity and positivity with a friend or wear a shirt with a positive message! Let’s keep the kindness going, PCMS! 👏💫

💙✨ Spreading Kindness at PCMS! ✨💙 Our PCMS Student Council recently visited The Heritage as part of Kindness Week, and it was a truly special experience! Students spent time playing games, making paper flowers, painting nails, and sharing lots of laughs with residents. This meaningful visit brought smiles to everyone involved and showed the true impact of kindness in our community. We are so proud of our students for representing PCMS with compassion and heart! 👏💐

🧪🦁 STEAM in Action at PCMS! 🦁🧪 Mr. Nichols’ STEAM class is bringing creativity to life by designing and building their own unique animals using their imaginations! Students are first planning their creations and then making their ideas into reality with hands-on materials. Using items like newspaper, tape (lots of tape! 😊), paper towel rolls, straws, paper mache paste, and more, students are constructing one-of-a-kind animal models. This project combines creativity, design, and engineering skills—a perfect example of STEAM learning in action! We can’t wait to see their amazing creations! 👏✨

🎨✨ A Very Spectacular Experience for PCMS Students! ✨🎨 Mrs. West and Mrs. Bennett’s classes recently attended Artsbridge’s annual “Very Spectacular Arts Festival” at WVU-Parkersburg! This exciting event gave students the opportunity to explore a variety of creative arts, including painting, music, drumming, yoga, and interactive dance. Students were fully engaged in hands-on experiences that encouraged creativity, expression, and movement. What a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow through the arts! 👏🎶

🚤 Students are in full swing preparing for our STEAM activity—the Cardboard Boat Regatta this Friday! From designing and building to testing their creativity and teamwork, the excitement is building fast. One boy and one girl from each grade level were selected for demonstrating outstanding character, responsibility, and respect. Congratulations to all of our recipients—we are so proud of you! 👏💙

Fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grade teachers selected students from each grade level for each month— January, and February These students were chosen for their positive attitudes, strong character, and for being great role models in our school.
