College Visits & Open Houses

Colleges will be visiting SMHS during your lunch, so check the sign outside the counseling office or check here for when they are coming.

The 2015 COLLEGE APPLICATION WEEK WILL BE AT SMHS DURING THE MONTH OF OCTOBER HERE. 5 UNIVERSITIES WILL BE AT SMHS TO OFFER FREE APPLICATION FOR ADMITTANCE.

College Application Week

College Application week at SMHS is October 19th-23rd.

 

During this week 5 different institutions will attend. During their visit they will offer students FREE applications; information regarding their institution; scholarship opportunities; academic offerings; on the spot acceptance and financial aid information. They will meet with students during their scheduled Senior English class.

 

Monday: October 19th: Fairmont State University

Tuesday: October 20th: Marshall University

Wednesday: October 21st: West Liberty University

Thursday: October 22nd: West Virginia University of Parkersburg

Friday: October 23rd: Marietta College

ASVAB Test

The ASVAB test will be given at SMHS 2x a year for seniors interested in joining the military.  Ten (10) spaces are available for the test.  Come to Mrs. Susan Travers office to register to test and be given a test date.
