St. Marys Methodist Church, led by Mrs. Judy Nutter will be providing a free prom dinner to all SMHS students this will be held at the Methodist Church in St. Marys from 4 pm to 6 pm on Saturday, April 27th.
The dinner will include.
appetizers
meal of either Steak or Chicken Parmesan
and a dessert
Sign-up will be in the office for students to RSVP, but walk-ins will be welcomed. This is a great way to save time and money and with so many proms that weekend will also help the rush of getting into a restaurant. In addition, there will be a photographer set up for pictures.
From 6 to 6:45 pm, students are welcome to come to the Senior Citizen Pavilion where live music will be as well as Press set up for refreshments before prom for both students, parents, and community members to enjoy.
Line-up will be at 6:45 at the Senior Citizen Building (in case of bad weather). Students will be announced crossing the street from the Riverleigh Room, promptly at 7 pm, parents and community members will be able to stand on the street to cheer on students as downtown will be blocked off for prom. I will provide information regarding parking for students and parents as well as more details at a later date.
There will also be an open house for parents and community members to view the Riverleigh Room before prom from 5 pm to 6 pm as well.
