Area Bands are invited to send representatives to be members of the All-Star Pep Band for the 2022 Battle Against Cystic Fibrosis Family of Schools All-Star Football Game
The All-Star Pep Band will play in the end-zone during the BACF All-Star Football Game on Friday, June 3 at St. Marys High School.
The tentative plan is to send PDFs of the music to directors/ students several weeks in advance and then have a rehearsal on the evening of Thursday, June 2 in St. Marys. Music will be emailed to the high school band directors to distrubute to their participating students.
For the game on Friday, June 3, the students will be seated in the endzone and perform “stand tunes” during the game, between quarters, as well as tentatively play some music at half time (no marching.) We would also play the WVU and Ohio State fight songs for touchdowns.
The head directors for the band will be Steven Jones of Pleasants Middle and Patrick Norton of St. Marys High, however, all directors of participating students will be invited to conduct and participate. The coordinator for the event is Eric Croasmun.
This will be a fun environment, where students will have fun playing music together with members of bands from around the area for the all-star game.
