WV CyberSWAT lessons: information for families
Beginning November 2 or later, students in grades 3 through 12 will receive West Virginia’s annual Safety While Accessing Technology (CyberSWAT) instruction. School staff will lead the lessons with classes. Students will not complete them independently online, and lessons may take more than one day. Each school will set its schedule.
Opt-out forms will go home with report cards on October 16 and are due back to the school by October 30. Families may review the full grade-level materials on the CyberSWAT website. Please contact your child’s school with questions or if you need help accessing the materials.
