St. Marys High School

PCS is implementing a new Bullying Prevention Program called "OLWEUS" in partnership with Marshall University and our behavioral and mental health teams and organizations. Today, the middle and high school teams are being trained and the elementary teams will be trained later in the week. The program is focused on long-term change that creates a safe and positive school climate.

There will be an informational Parent/Player meeting for those playing golf this year at St. Marys High School on Monday, July 31st. This meeting will be held at 9:30 am at the St. Marys Golf Course. Players should report with their clubs. Thank you!

The St. Marys High School office will be open Mon. through Fri. 8 am to 3:30 pm for anyone that did not pick up their report card on the last day of school. Additionally, we have the certificates for those completing Driver Education and we also have transcripts for any graduating seniors available.

Reminder to schedule upcoming sports physical to all athletes. You must have a new sports physical to begin any summer window practices, weightlifting, etc. for PCMS or St. Marys High. Effective June 3rd, last year's physicals will be expired, so please make sure you schedule your physical if you have not done so already. The Lady Devil softball team has advance to play in the consolation bracket final tomorrow, 5-25-23, at 9:45 am at Little Creek Park in South Charleston. If they win, they will play in the afternoon vs Wahama in the championship round. Tomorrow's walking practice for seniors has been canceled to allow students and fans to attend the games if desired. Thank you.

2023 State Softball Information- Lady Devils first game is 9:45 am on Wednesday vs Wahama. The WVSSAC State Softball Tournament will be played at Little Creek Park in South Charleston. The double elimination tournament will be played May 24-25. Class A Wednesday, May 24 Game 1 – St. Marys (28-4) vs. Wahama (28-5) – 9:45 a.m. Game 2 – Petersburg (25-8) vs. Greenbrier West (23-2) – 30 minutes after Game 3 – Game 1 loser vs. Game 2 loser – 4:45 p.m. Game 4 – Winners bracket final – 30 minutes later Thursday, May 25 Game 5 – Game 3 winner vs. Game 4 loser – 9:45 a.m. Game 6 – Championship – 2:15 p.m. Game 7 – If necessary – 30 minutes after Attached is the QR code for purchasing tickets through GoFan. All tickets for the state softball tournament will be digital. There will not be any paper tickets sold at the park. Please encourage your fans to purchase tickets in advance. It will help tremendously with the traffic flow when entering the park.
