FOOTBALL SCHEDULE CHANGE THIS FRIDAY!
St. Marys High and Doddridge County High School have taken under consideration the heat advisory in our area and have moved the game time for Friday night's football game to 8 p.m. The gates will open at 6:30 p.m. in accordance with the time change. We look forward to seeing you this Friday, but just a little later. Thank you !
The SMHS Yearbook staff wants to remind past graduates that we still have many extra yearbooks from the last 10 years. If you were unable to order a yearbook and are interested in purchasing one, please stop by SMHS or reach out to amber.campano@k12.wv.us
Change your mind about purchasing school photos? Picture packets may still be submitted to Mrs. Campano. The final day to turn in forms and payment will be Thursday, September 5.

Exciting news! Can’t make it to a game? Live out of town and want to keep up with St. Marys High School athletics? Together with Hudl, we are offering a livestream of every HOME game played in St. Marys High School's gym or stadium.
These events can be purchased individually with a single-game pass for $8 or a monthly pass is $20. Please be aware that a monthly game pass will auto-renew from your purchase date. Once again, this is only for HOME events at this time. A majority of the funds earned from these broadcasts go directly back to our school. A smaller percentage of it goes specifically towards providing this technology.

The West Virginia Legislature has removed “educational leave” or what we called locally “leave of educational value” from the list of excused absences for all West Virginia Public Schools. Please see the information below.
The SMHS first Local School Improvement Council (LSIC) organizational meeting (election of officers) and the first business meeting have been scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 29th at 4:00 p.m. in the SMHS library. All stakeholders are invited and encouraged to attend!
If you are a parent/guardian and interested in being a member of the LSIC please complete the nomination form and return to the school by Aug. 28th. We will elect all new members on Aug. 29th.

Welcome to another Fall season of St. Marys Blue Devils' athletic events! Ticket prices for sporting events are again $4.00 students and $5.00 for adults with a $1.00 GoFan fee, if purchased electronically online or by using a debit/credit card at the gate for each contest. Adult tickets will $7.00 and students $5.00 if it is a cash purchase at the gate. SMHS is again offering season pass options for individual sports that will lower the cost even more. Thank you to everyone who has chosen to use our new digital form platform. The response has exceeded our best expectations. Today at 3:30 PM, we sent out email reminders to those who have started the process but still have some forms to complete. Please check your email for a message from Droplet to see if you have any additional forms that need to be completed.
At a minimum, everyone should have four forms to complete, with some having as many as twelve forms. We appreciate your continued effort in completing the beginning-of-year forms electronically.
Announcing Conference Dates:
Forms go home to register: Friday, October 18
BES/ SMES Conferences: Monday, October 28
SMHS/ PCMS Conferences: Tuesday, October 29
Extra 2023-24 yearbooks are available for $70. Make checks payable to SMHS. Please see Mrs. Campano to purchase.
School pictures will be taken on Friday, August 23. Picture packets were sent home on the first day of school, but extras are available in the office.
Fall sports photos will be taken after school on Tuesday, August 27. Please see your coach for specific times and photo packets.
Formal senior photos will be taken on Tuesday, October 29. Proofs will be provided two weeks later.
Pleasants County Schools will be closed on Monday August 19, 2024 due to an active fire at a business near our bus garage. We are assessing potential damage to some of our buses. As a precaution, we have decided to close school today.
