Reminder for SMHS students who are going to the Girls State Basketball game on the pep bus: We will be leaving SMHS at 8:30 a.m. Students should have money to eat at the Civic Center concession stand if they did not already request a lunch from school. They are encouraged to bring their own packed lunch from home to eat before the game. We will not be stopping to eat on the way home. We will be arriving back at SMHS before the end of the school day.

Tickets for the WV Girls’ Basketball State Tournament game are on sale through Tuesday at 6PM at St. Marys High School. The Lady Devils will play Summers County on Wednesday March 9th at 11:15 a. m. Student tickets are on sale for $6.00 and adult tickets are $10.00 if bought during pre-sale. We will have office hours from 8:30 am to 6 pm today (March 7) and tomorrow (March 8) for students and the public to come purchase a ticket. Pep buses will be available for students to ride, but they must have purchased a ticket and signed up by 1 pm on Tuesday so we can accurately plan for transportation needs. Students should have money to eat before the game or may request a cold lunch to be packed by the school or may bring their own packed lunch.
WV Girls’ Basketball State Tournament Tickets for the WEDNESDAY game are on sale today (Monday) from now until 6PM at the St. Marys High School Main Office. A more detailed message will release at 3:45 PM today.

Congratulations Cody Houser on winning the WVSSAC 220 lb AA-A class on Saturday during the WV 75th Annual State Championships. We also congratulate Ben Wagstaff for placing 6th in the 285 lb class. The team finished 5th overall, again congratulations coaches and team for a job well done!

Yesterday the SMHS golf team visited the State Capital in Charleston. The team was honored for their success as three-time state champions.
