National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

Pleasants County Schools is having another Covid Vaccine Clinic for students 5 and up at Pleasants County Middle School on December 20th from 1-4 pm. If you would like to get your child vaccinated and have never signed up, please contact Ashley Dawson at the middle school. Her direct phone number is 304-299-5365.

The student COVID vaccine clinic has been confirmed for November 29th. Parents have until this Friday at 8am to sign up their child to be vaccinated. If you would like your child to receive the Pfizer COVID vaccine, please fill out this form: https://forms.office.com/r/jVLQNsZ896
If you do not have access to fill out this form online, please contact your child's school for assistance. Signed parental consent will be required for students to receive the vaccine. The consent form (https://5il.co/r9q3) is posted to the Pleasants County Schools website and will also be sent home with your child.
Thursday, November 18 is the Mid-Term for the Second Nine Weeks.
Mid-Term reports will be sent home on Friday, November 19.
With the colder months approaching, please remember the guidance chart (posted as an image) to reduce illness in our schools. If you are unsure, please call the nurse that serves your child's school.

Honoring All Who Served

This week in math:
Geometry students are exploring transformations in the coordinate plane. They are currently working on understanding rotations about the origin.
Trigonometry/Precalculus students are solidifying their understanding of trigonometric function values. They are using reference angles to find the values of any angle.
Algebra I Honors students are studying linear functions. Using function notation, they are evaluating functions.
College Algebra students are readying themselves for the college class in the spring. They are studying the domain and range of piecewise functions and nonlinear functions.

Schools and Offices will be closed to observe Veterans Day on Thursday, November 11.
