School pictures will be taken on Friday, August 23. Picture packets were sent home on the first day of school, but extras are available in the office.
Fall sports photos will be taken after school on Tuesday, August 27. Please see your coach for specific times and photo packets.
Formal senior photos will be taken on Tuesday, October 29. Proofs will be provided two weeks later.
Pleasants County Schools will be closed on Monday August 19, 2024 due to an active fire at a business near our bus garage. We are assessing potential damage to some of our buses. As a precaution, we have decided to close school today.

We are excited to announce a new, convenient way for you to complete the beginning-of-year forms for your child - Electronic Forms!
Your child will be bringing home a pink paper form today with more information about this new process.
You can now fill out these forms electronically. After submitting the initial form, please check your email for links to complete all other required forms.
If you prefer traditional paper forms, we’ve got you covered! Please complete and return the pink paper form to let us know, and we will send home paper forms for your child.

Any Senior Athlete who would like to have an add in the Fall Sports books (program), needs to have ad information turned in no later than Friday, August 9th. Please contact Athletic Booster President Jacque Evans at 724-366-2286 via text or phone if you have any questions.
Reminder: SMHS Cross Country will begin their practices today at 6:30 p.m. If you are interested in participating, make sure you bring your WVSSAC approved physical form and proof of insurance to Shelter #2 in Pleasants Co. Park, where the team will meet for practice.
