Senior parent/guardian:
Any Senior Athlete who would like to have an add in the Fall Sports books (program), needs to have ad information turned in no later than Friday, August 9th. Please contact Athletic Booster President Jacque Evans at 724-366-2286 via text or phone if you have any questions.
Reminder: SMHS Cross Country will begin their practices today at 6:30 p.m. If you are interested in participating, make sure you bring your WVSSAC approved physical form and proof of insurance to Shelter #2 in Pleasants Co. Park, where the team will meet for practice.

SMHS Football: If you are interested in playing football and missed helmet fitting, there is a make-up helmet fitting opportunity at 9 a.m. on Friday 8-2-24 at the football field. Thank you.
Parents and Stakeholders:
As required by State Code, we have to hold Faculty Senate and Professional Development Sessions each month, which requires a monthly Early Dismissal. So you can plan, here is our 2024-2025 Early Dismissal Schedule. As with any schedule, this may change depending on weather cancellations and other factors.
Joe Semple (SMHS) and Michelle Bineger (PCMS) were asked by the WVDE to participate in the WV K-12 State Art Standards Review Committee for 2024-2025 academic year in Charleston. Thank you to Mr. Semple and Mrs. Bineger for representing Pleasants County Schools in this important task!

SMHS Athletic Boosters and the SMHS Cheerleaders invite you to the Annual Meet the Teams on Thursday Aug. 15th at 6:30 p.m. The SMHS award winning band and all the SMHS Fall sport athletes will be introduced. Come celebrate the activities! Remember the first SMHS football scrimmage will be 7 p.m. at home the next evening. Let's go Devils!
