Parents and Stakeholders:
As required by State Code, we have to hold Faculty Senate and Professional Development Sessions each month, which requires a monthly Early Dismissal. So you can plan, here is our 2024-2025 Early Dismissal Schedule. As with any schedule, this may change depending on weather cancellations and other factors.
Joe Semple (SMHS) and Michelle Bineger (PCMS) were asked by the WVDE to participate in the WV K-12 State Art Standards Review Committee for 2024-2025 academic year in Charleston. Thank you to Mr. Semple and Mrs. Bineger for representing Pleasants County Schools in this important task!

SMHS Athletic Boosters and the SMHS Cheerleaders invite you to the Annual Meet the Teams on Thursday Aug. 15th at 6:30 p.m. The SMHS award winning band and all the SMHS Fall sport athletes will be introduced. Come celebrate the activities! Remember the first SMHS football scrimmage will be 7 p.m. at home the next evening. Let's go Devils!

SMHS Volleyball Update:
Any girls interested in playing volleyball for the 2024 season this fall, there is a flex practice on July 10th at 6:30 p.m. If you have not signed up at earlier meetings, we wanted to make sure no one missed out on an opportunity to do so. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Corathers 304-476-3108. A WVSSAC approved physical and proof of insurance are required to begin practicing.
All offices and buildings will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024, in recognition of Independence Day.
