MERRY CHRISTMAS
SMHS will be having an Open House this evening from 6:00 - 8:00. You will have an opportunity to see Santa, Christmas trees, and you can purchase treats at the concession stand. While you are here you could watch the Freshmen Basketball team at 6:00 and the band will be performing at 7:00.

Wednesday, December 22 is an Early Dismissal
SMHS Student Council members donated gifts to the local Adopt-a-Family program. Students wrapped the gifts before delivering them to the Neighborhood Network.
Pleasants County Schools will be closed on Wednesday December 8, 2021.
National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day
Pleasants County Schools is having another Covid Vaccine Clinic for students 5 and up at Pleasants County Middle School on December 20th from 1-4 pm. If you would like to get your child vaccinated and have never signed up, please contact Ashley Dawson at the middle school. Her direct phone number is 304-299-5365.
“Elf, the Toymaker” is carefully watching Mr. Lancaster’s classes. This group of students paused from their work in small groups to take a photo with him.

The student COVID vaccine clinic has been confirmed for November 29th. Parents have until this Friday at 8am to sign up their child to be vaccinated. If you would like your child to receive the Pfizer COVID vaccine, please fill out this form: https://forms.office.com/r/jVLQNsZ896
If you do not have access to fill out this form online, please contact your child's school for assistance. Signed parental consent will be required for students to receive the vaccine. The consent form (https://5il.co/r9q3) is posted to the Pleasants County Schools website and will also be sent home with your child.
Thursday, November 18 is the Mid-Term for the Second Nine Weeks.
Mid-Term reports will be sent home on Friday, November 19.
