The boys JV basketball game vs Magnolia scheduled for tonight will start at 6:30. There will only be two quarters played in the JV game.


Human Anatomy and Physiology students open the thoracic cavity of a fetal pig. This will allow them to better understand the human cardio-vascular system by looking at and dissecting the cardio-vascular system of the pig.

The SMHS STARS group created Easter baskets for 25 families. These families will be getting a box of food for Easter Dinner, as well as an Easter basket. The St. Marys Elks Club partnered with STARS for this project. Food will be delivered Saturday morning.



The deadline for the 2021 PROMISE Scholarship application and 2021 - 22 FAFSA has been extended to July 1, 2021 .

Mrs. Corrigan's Forensic class is determining the area of origin of an impact by calculating the degree of the angle from the blood spatter. The students will then place strings at those angles to find where the blood source originated in three- dimensional space.





Kylie Wright, Lara Fetty, and Cara Masters were recognized for scoring 30 or higher on the ACT during the 2020-2021 school year!


Shepherd University Summer Start Program: All college bound students are invited to begin their college career at Shepherd this summer! Through Summer Start, students will enroll in up to 7 credits at Shepherd. They will live on campus, take classes, and participate in cultural and outdoor activities. The West Virginia Disability History Essay Contest is back for 2021! The deadline has been to Monday, March 29, 2021. This contest is designed to provide high school seniors with an opportunity to showcase their writing skills, share what they have learned about the Disability Rights Movement, use their ability to form and express opinions, and perhaps to earn some money to help them into them future!
