As we were to phase-in our new bullying prevention program, students in grades 3-12 will be asked to participate in the Olweus Bullying Questionnaire during the first two weeks of October. The information from this questionnaire will help guide our school staff members in implementing the OBPPÂ effectively in our schools. Parents were notified of their right to opt out of having their student participate in this questionnaire in September.

Why is our new Bullying Prevention Program called “Olweus?”
It is named after Dan Olweus, PhD, who is recognized as the ”founding father” of research on bullying. His book, "Bullying at School: What We Know and What We Can Do," has been translated into more than 25 languages!
