Parents and Stakeholders:
As required by State Code, we have to hold Faculty Senate and Professional Development Sessions each month, which requires a monthly Early Dismissal. So you can plan, here is our 2024-2025 Early Dismissal Schedule. As with any schedule, this may change depending on weather cancellations and other factors.
Joe Semple (SMHS) and Michelle Bineger (PCMS) were asked by the WVDE to participate in the WV K-12 State Art Standards Review Committee for 2024-2025 academic year in Charleston. Thank you to Mr. Semple and Mrs. Bineger for representing Pleasants County Schools in this important task!

All offices and buildings will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024, in recognition of Independence Day.
This morning at 8 AM, mandatory training for full-time employees opened on Vector Training. Details were sent by email to employee work emails on Friday, June 28. These details are also available under “news” on the county website. Employees who complete all mandatory training by 3 PM on August 7th do not have to report to work on August 8th. (More details are included in the letter in your email and on the county website.)
